Most of us have very fond memories from our childhood of Halloween.
But Halloween candy has some of the most toxic ingredients the food industry has to offer:

High fructose corn syrup?
Food dyes?
Partially hydrogenated cottonseed oil?
Genetically modified soy?

What are we doing to our children?
Is one fun night a year worth poisoning our children or giving them cancer and diabetes?
What we need is a Trick-or-Treat alternative for health conscious families...

The NCC is proud to offer:

Healthy Halloween
Trunk-or-Treat

Saturday, October 30, 2010
7:00 - 9:00 PM

ALL AGES ARE WELCOME - COSTUMES ARE REQUIRED!

Participants will park their cars in the Herbs Etc./NITE parking lot and decorate them in a fun theme of their own choice. Then the kids will stop at each vehicle to receive their healthy treats. We also have fun games and activities for them to enjoy like face-painting, pumpkin bowling,
and more!

If you are interested in participating in the Trunk-or-Treat, volunteering for the kid's activities, or making a donation, please fill out a volunteer registration form and send it to Kathryn Doran-Fisher at the Naturopathic Community Center, 503 E. Broadway, Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858. Kathryn can also be reached by email at nitemtp@localnet.com.
