Amy Jo
Howard
, C.N., C.H., N.D.,
has a Bachelor of Science
Degree from Central Michigan
University and has graduated
from NITE as a Certified
Naturopath and Certified
Homeopath. Working in
the natural health field for
over eight years, she sees
clients on a daily basis and
educates them on how to take
charge of their health and
return to a state of well
being. Amy also teaches
several courses at NITE and
MidMichigan Community
College. With her
friendly smile and
knowledgeable skills, she will
surely help you with your
individual health
concerns.

Fodor

Manager,
Having been raised on a farm,
Becky has a great work
ethic. She also has a deep
connection to
and awareness of how our
modern culture
damages the land and
affects our society.
Environmental impact is her
study of interest. Becky is
completing her education in
the Naturopathic program and
is the store manager for Herbs
Etc. You'll recognize her by
her cheery smile.

Baker
, Director of
Education,
is a Naturopath with a
passion for creating
life-changing programs.
Her background in Natural
Health goes all the way back
to her childhood.
Appointments with her focus on
nutrition, non-invasive forms
of analysis such as Iridology,
Sclerology, Muscle Response
Testing, and much more. Bessheen is the founder of the
Naturopathic Institute and
owner of Herbs Etc.

Moore
, Support Staff
is delightful and
upbeat to be around, which
makes her a perfect hostess
for the Ticket for Health
luncheons, graduations, and
any special event being
sponsored by the Naturopathic
Community Center. Colene is
retired and loves spreading
the good news about natural
health. We are grateful to
have her as a support staff
member.

Elaine
Simon
, N.H.E.,
graduated from NITE as a
Natural Health Educator in
January of 2009. Elaine is
currently taking classes in
the Natual Health Therapist
program where she is working
to become a Certified
Naturopath. Elaine says, "When
I was young I always said I
wanted to help people and I
can't think of a better way to
do that than by improving
their health and overall
wellness. I am very thankful
for the experience I am
gaining at Herbs Etc."

Elizabeth
Lo
, C.N., N.D.,
T.B.W.P.,
graduated from the University
of Michigan with a Bachelor's
Degree in Psychology. She, then,
began her training as a
Certified Naturopath during
which she also completed the
Therapeutic Bodywork
Practitioner Program. After
completion of the Certifed
Naturopath program, she passed the
national exam
for Naturopathic Doctor.
Elizabeth is kindhearted and a
great listener, which makes
her popular as a counselor for
physical and emotional
concerns. She has a passion
for incorporating massage
therapy into natural health
programs.

Erica
Marsden
, N.H.E., M.T.,
graduated from the
Naturopathic Institute in 2000,
as a Natural Health
Educator. In 2003, she
became a nationally board
certified massage
therapist. Erica loves
being able to incorporate
natural health and essential
oil suggestions with her
massages. Clients
appreciate the simple
stretching tips she gives to
improve muscle flexibility
between visits. Erica is
continuing her studies in
Naturopathy and is able to
provide labor assistance for
parents who want to include
natural health into their
birth plans.

Guthrie
, Accounting,
is a well-respected
local accounts manager who
grew up in the Mt. Pleasant
area. Gloria is extremely
friendly and has a positive
outlook, even about taxes! She
has been essential in
organizing the multi-dynamic
aspects of Herbs Etc., the
Naturopathic Institute, and the
Naturopathic Community
Center.

Lewis
, Chief Executive
Maintenance Officer,
After retiring from the
field of construction, Herb
was taking it easy at home,
attending the occasional
bowling tournament and
traveling with his wife,
Sally. He now completes
multiple tasks inside and
outside of the new center as
well as developing and
maintaining our herbal
gardens. Herb is kind and
helpful no matter the
task.

Kennetha
Hill
, T.B.W.P.,
graduated from NITE in
January of 2009 as a
Therapeutic Bodywork
Practitioner. As a massage
therapist, Kennetha likes to
work with her clients to help
relieve pain and works with stretching to improve
mobility and flexibility.
Kennetha focuses
on individualizing each
massage to her client's
needs.

Mary
Booms
, M.T., N.H.E.,
is an instructor in the
Therapeutic Bodywork
Practitioner program at
NITE. She is also a
graduate of Central Michigan
University where she majored
in entrepreneurship and
community health. As a massage
therapist, Mary loves the
individual attention she is
able to give each client in
order to create significant
change in how they feel. Her specialty is the Bellanina
Facelift Massage; she is also
very well known for her deep
tissue massages.

Nancy
Liponoga
, Director of
Administration,
completed her Masters of
Science in Management and
Leadership from Cornerstone
University of Grand Rapids.
Nancy enjoys assisting new and
current students of NITE and
helping at Herbs Etc., as well.
In addition, Nancy teaches
various Tuesday night classes
for the Naturopathic Community
Center while continuing her
own studies in natural
health.

Lewis
, Store Staff,
Sally is passionately
interested in herbs and
nutrition and is a wonderful
resource for customers. Sally
always goes the extra mile,
making everyone feel at home
and giving them the very best
service she can offer. Most of
all, Sally has a great sense
